Meditate in Your Spirit and Values

Personal understanding and transformation begin when you live in the moment. This idea does not mean ignoring everything around you or creating a fantasy. Instead, it means absorbing and appreciating the very real things around you.

Consider your friends, your family, and other loved ones in your life. Recognize what you love about them and what you love within or about yourself. Remember your interests, ideas, and fascinations.

Thinking about these things helps bring out the person you are at your core.

Understand Your Inhibitions and Comfort Yourself in the Now

Our very wiring can complicate this process. We have evolved to think about everything under the sun and act in a way that best suits immediate needs. But doing so without a break can cloud our understanding and sense of self. 

To step into a new reality, you need time for self-guided thought. Respectful use of psychedelics can help many people release these worries and dig deep into themselves. Those wary of psychedelics can listen to calming music, attend yoga, or find safe spaces to recognize their inner feelings. 

Regardless, remember to be kind to yourself.

Experience the Freedom of Your True Self

Within you exists a person who is so much more than your struggles and personal circumstances. Hardship has formed a part of who you are, but hardship is not everything you are. 

We tend to lose ourselves in the bombardment of tragedies and fears. We could pile future worries on top of past baggage and stew in unhealthy self-bondage.

Meditating on who and what you value can help you rediscover yourself beyond your fears. With that rediscovery, you can act on what is truly meaningful to you. 

This process may take a while, but don’t worry! You never stop growing, and it’s never too late to discover what spiritually fulfills you.
