About Guest Mathew Ryan Kondraki

As a spiritual medium and filmmaker, Mathew Kondraki is no stranger to living beyond the norms. He first developed a taste for filmmaking during a position as an extra for a Hollywood film. After brushing shoulders with a prominent movie star or two, Kondraki pursued an entertainment career, an experience that taught him to tackle challenges head-on. His current project is Dark Echoes Paranormal Show, produced through his company, Dark Echo Productions, LLC.

How Movies and TV Shows Ignite Resilience

Mathew Kondraki’s love of movie production and TV show creation stems from his initial appreciation of immersive experiences. Like many people, his journey began with a dream. However, curiosity and determination fueled him further.

What the Entertainment Industry Teaches Us About Success

Any creative craft requires creator growth. Resilience fuels growth. “I met this guy named Rob Lamagonga who worked with Paramount Fiction for 22 years… The one thing I love about Rob was he was straight honest. This guy was honest to the point that if my work was crap, it was crap.”

Mathew goes on to describe Rob’s feedback and honesty as a driving influence behind his media success. Mathew’s willing spirit in using feedback as a resource rather than a source of disempowerment was integral to success in media entertainment.

Handling Feedback With an Open Spirit

“It’s not that you’re failing. You have to understand what goes into making a film,” Mathew says as he reminisces about Rob pushing him to hone his craft. Mathew’s early films inevitably fell flat.

He describes the complex elements needed for successful films and TV shows:

  • Audio

  • Color grading

  • Broadcast level

He took five years to learn more about these elements, improving his craft. “In 2019, I started a company called Dark Echo Production.”

Applying the Lessons To Other Situations

As Mathew built his company, he experienced relatable personal issues. “I lost friendships. I had family turn on me. I had people tell me that I could never film like Hollywood.”

However, Mathew persisted. Dark Echo Productions later became an LLC. “When people tell me I can’t, that is my motivation to say… I can do this.”

Applying the G.R.I.P. Method

Mathew says that his industry peers now classify him as a professional filmmaker. His story of resilience and freedom from others’ judgments reflects the G.R.I.P. Method’s model of:

  • Identifying goals

  • Planning to reach them

  • Experiencing resentment from those we love

  • Pursuing the goal regardless

The G.R.I.P. Method

G.R.I.P. stands for "Greatness Requires Intention & Purpose," and many who have followed this method can attest to that. This strategy helps people find their goals, inspirations, and visions and execute them with clear intentions through planning, purpose, and integrity. It works with science and psychology to make dreams a reality.

It is a roadmap that guides you through struggles and hardships, with the final destination being the life you want to lead or the changes you wish to make. The G.R.I.P. Method offers a plan to go from fear to freedom and helps you break away from where past attempts did not work.
